Bottle Beach, or Haad Khuat, is a white sand beach in the north of Koh Phangan reached by no road. That is why it is in the state it is: no cars, no scooters, and nothing permanent beyond a few bungalows.
There are two ways in. The longtail from Chaloklum, about twenty minutes, is the normal one. The path from Haad Khom crosses the jungle in an hour and a half, with steep and slippery sections, and it is not reliably waymarked.

Rules on site
The longtails do not run in heavy seas, which is common from November to January: you can end up stuck there. The last boat back leaves in the mid-afternoon — confirm the time when you set out.
