Langkawi's Sky Bridge is a curved walkway a hundred and twenty-five metres long, hung at six hundred and sixty metres above the jungle of Mount Mat Cincang. It is carried by a single inclined pylon, from which it hangs on eight cables.
Its curve is not decorative: it gives viewpoints in several directions from one structure, and lets you see the bridge itself from its own ends. Mount Mat Cincang is a sandstone and quartzite massif among the oldest in South-East Asia, over five hundred million years old.
Getting there
SkyCab cable car from Oriental Village at Teluk Burau. Then a sloping walkway or a funicular to the bridge.
