Efate's Blue Lagoon is a freshwater hole fed by an underground spring, opaque blue from minerals dissolved out of the limestone. It connects to the sea by a channel, but the water in it stays fresh.
Banyans lean over the pool and rope swings have been rigged to drop from. The site is private, run by the local community, and the entry fee goes to them. It combines with the Mele cascades and Eton village on the island circuit.
