Batu Caves

The KTM Komuter train from KL Sentral goes there directly for a few ringgit, and the terminus is at the foot of the steps. Shoulders and knees covered, or hire a sarong on site.

HoursTuesday to Sunday, 9am – 10.30pm, last entry 9.30pm. Closed most Mondays.
The daily quota is capped and goes fast: book online, or you will climb the steps for nothing. An equivalent view is free from KLCC park at the foot of the towers, at dusk.

If you only do one, make it KL Tower: its deck is higher, it gives you the whole of the twin towers in frame, and the ticket costs less than the Petronas skybridge. The shuttle from the Jalan Punchak gate is free — don't walk up the road.
