Fifty-metre steel trees that light up after dark.

Best time
Late afternoon, into the light show
Open
Every day

The park opened in 2012 on land reclaimed from the sea. The eighteen Supertrees are steel structures of twenty-five to fifty metres, clad in epiphytes: they are genuine infrastructure, with solar panels on top and rainwater collection, not scenery.
The outdoor park and the evening light show are free. The two conservatories — the Flower Dome, and the Cloud Forest with its thirty-five-metre waterfall — are ticketed, and take an hour each.
Getting there
MRT Circle or Downtown line, Bayfront station, exit B. Ten minutes on foot across the link bridge from Marina Bay Sands.
Hours
Garden Rhapsody show every evening, two performances
What to bring
- 1.5 L of water
- Cap
Rules on site
The park is vast and unshaded during the day: come late in the afternoon. The conservatories are cooled to sixteen degrees; a light layer keeps you from coming out frozen.
