Blue Mosque

Hagia Sophia

At fifty-five euros this is the most expensive ticket in the city. If you only pay for one, the Basilica Cistern at thirty-eight euros impresses more for less — and the Blue Mosque costs nothing.

Thirty-eight euros for twenty minutes of walkway is the steepest price in Sultanahmet. The Şerefiye cistern, five minutes away on Piyer Loti Caddesi, is Byzantine too, costs a fraction of that and is walked almost alone.
